Higgins Lake - Spring Ice Patrol
We took these pictures of Higgins Lake on Thursday, April 9, 2009 in the late morning from 5500 feet down to 2000 feet MSL. The ice was making a quick retreat and the colors of Higgin's waters showed through in it's outstanding clarity. Many of the shots focus on Treasure Island, the South State Park, and the Cut River.
